Spring into Summer
The temps are rising, which means colorful prints and less fabric are in order. With plenty of events on the calendar this summer, such as graduations, weddings, showers, cruises, vacations, and parties, we all are in search of that perfect frock.
I recently found this bright stunner from HUTCH that I had to share. It is super comfortable smooth silk, that can be dressed up or down according to the occasion. I love the wrap feature, which allows beauties of many sizes be able to wrap up a super flattering silhouette. The silk ribbons can then be tied into a bow for an extra feminine touch.
The print though, is it’s standout feature. Bright cobalt blue, with gorgeous magenta flowers, let’s you be the cheery focus of any occasion.
I just checked, and the dress is sold out on HUTCH’s site. HOWEVER, you can rent or purchase this dress on Rent the Runway. Here’s the link! Also, 20% your first purchase is available by signing up for their newsletter.
I love letting what I see around me influence my expressions of creativity and style. My style totally shifts with the seasons, as well as my art. We have such a great muse in nature, so why shouldn’t we take advantage of it!
This totally versatile piece can be dressed up or down with heels or flats. I chose some classic black sandaled heels by COACH, but it would be cute with some gold flats and gold jewelry as well.
I chose to pair the colorful frock with even more color. I’m OBSESSED with these floral earrings by ELIZABETH COLE JEWELRY. I love how they tie in the colors of the dress, and add a little bit of an eclectic vibe. They feel very Spanish to me for some reason. (Which I love). Here is where you can find the earrings.
Her site has so many amazing designs, especially statement pieces that are full of detail. You can also get 15% off your first order by signing up for the newsletter.
I’ve had an amazing weekend enjoying the warmer temps and sweet sunshine. I would love to hear your feedback below on how your style changes with the seasons, and what you pull influence from in your own wardrobe, art, writing, or music.
b. well,
